Drama queens, griots, and poets offer up spells, music, spooky/alien fun, and maybe a mystery or two on the Josten Library Mezzanine, Mendenhall Center for the Performing Arts, Friday, October 13, at 5 p.m.

Novelist and playwright Andrea Hairston, Louise Wolff Kahn 1931 Professor of Theatre and Africana Studies, will read from her newest novel, Will Do Magic For Small Change, in creative collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Pan Morigan and author, anthologist and poet, Sheree R. Thomas, former Lakes Writer in Residence, also performing original works.

JostenLive! Fridays@Five is a patron-driven performance series celebrating the creative work of performing artists, and the acoustic magic of its Mezzanine. Brief, free of charge, and open to all.
