Discover Advanced nagivation changes July 7

Published June 26, 2026

Beginning July 7, there will be changes to the navigation panel of the Discover Advanced and EBSCOhost interfaces. The layout will change in several ways:

The left-hand navigation menu (My Dashboard and Research Tools) will be moved to the top of the screen and menu items will be regrouped.
My Dashboard tools (including Holds & Checkouts) will be moved to the MyEBSCO menu, and users will be prompted to create a My EBSCO account if they don’t have one already.
The filters with options for refining search results (limiting to full text, date ranges, publication types, etc.) will move to the left-hand panel and will be open by default.
Pagination will be added to the results page to replace the “Show more results” button.

See EBSCO's information page for screenshots and more details.
