Michael Klein is a five-time Lambda Literary Award finalist, and has won the award twice for Poets for Life: 76 Poets Respond to AIDS and for, 1990, his first book of poems (tied with James Schuyler’s Collected Poems). He has four books of poems and has also written two works of autobiographical nonfiction: Track Conditions and The End of Being Known. He currently teaches at Hunter College in New York, where he lives with his husband, Ruby, the magnificent French bulldog, and two magical cats, Flora and Eddie.
